Video Destination Rebrands Online Video Service Offerings, Launches Four New Websites
NEW YORK, July 17, 2012 — Video Destination (VideoDestination.com), a leading provider of online video services, has introduced new branding for its offerings via four new websites.
The New York City-based company’s former site retains its address for the new corporate website. Video Destination’s three main service offerings are now located at their own respective sites with unique addresses.
- Video Destination’s main corporate site (VideoDestination.com) includes a company overview plus mission, history, and leadership information.
- Video Destination Video Productions (produce.videodestination.com) showcases Video Destination’s professional webcasting and video production capabilities, including post-production services.
- Video Destination Encoding(encoding.videodestination.com) features Video Destination’s professional file conversion and physical media transfer services for both businesses and consumers.
- Video Destination Broadcasting(encoding.videodestination.com) highlights Video Destination’s hosting and live streaming solutions, including the company’s proprietary, customizable video player and its self-provisioning webcast service.
The rebranding and new sites were part of an initiative sparked by the need for specializing in the online video space. “This is our third rebranding since we entered the Internet video space in 2006. It has been amazing to see the industry grow out of nothing to become such an established part of business,” said Video Destination President/Co-Founder Gary Kahn. “As online video has matured, our clients have become more sophisticated. By breaking the sites into more-focused brands, we can better address their specific needs. A client looking for one specific service will be able to find the information they need quicker, in much more detail than what was included on our previous site.”
“We feel that our new sites really identify what we do best and highlight our specialties,” said Video Destination Director of Operations/Co-Founder Kevin Brail. “We also really love the design.”
Among the new site features is an extensive support section that includes FAQs, a glossary of online video terminology, interactive tools, a site-wide search, and troubleshooting tips for webcast viewers. “We’ve always been proud of the support we offer to both our clients and webcast audiences,” said Kahn. “We now have a united support system to make it easier for users to get the help they need as quickly as possible.”
Video Bytes, Video Destination’s new blog (VideoDestination.com/blog), will be accessible via all four sites. Designed to offer online video tips and advice, the blog will also share the latest news about the company’s promotions and product enhancements. “We hope to relay some of our production experience to potential customers with our blog,” said Brail.
In addition, the company is unveiling its new promotional video on the sites. The short introduction to the company’s services and team was scripted, storyboarded, shot, and edited in-house. “Our new video shows customers exactly what they can expect when they hire Video Destination to make a video for their company,” explained Brail.
“Many companies that do business on the Internet are faceless — some don’t even provide a phone number,” said Kahn. “Creating our own promotional video puts a human face on the services we offer by allowing people to see what we look like, hear our voices, explore our office, meet our staff, and watch them in action on location.”
